About

Who we are...

We are an unsigned four piece band from San Diego, CA.

The band originated in 2017 when Kyle (far left) and Michael (second from right) met at school. Michael was studying Southeast Asian interpretive dancing while Kyle was studying mathematical applications of the Maclaurin series.

When Peter (far right) and Andrew (second from left) joined in 2018, Burlap The Sac was reborn.

We write alternative rock music with surf rock, punk, and garage rock influences. We play shows all over Southern California but not for the lack of trying to play shows elsewhere.
